Shaw thing as Hope springs eternal
Another excellent bowls tournament at the Railway Club, well organised by Alan Jones, saw Keith Shaw top score whilst Derek Hope took the Members' Trophy. The prestigious Mug's medal will be held for the next twelve months by John Leigh. At least he knows someone who can do the woodwork on the 2009 recipient's bar!
Thanks to our hosts for the venue - the green, although damp, was in good condition.
