Weekend Away - just memories
Lytham St.Annes was again the venue for The Thirty Three's Weekend Away, which included the Ladies' Evening on Saturday 20th March.
The Best Western Glendower Hotel hosted our Members, Ladies, Associate Members and Guests, starting with a Caribbean steel band accompanying Friday dinner.
Then, on Saturday, the highlight of the weekend, the Ladies' Evening. MC John Everton also proposed the toast to The Ladies, with Chairman Dave Taylor replying. After a delicious meal, with Roast Beef the main course, DJ Craig played and sang a selection of dance music.
Well done, Peter Kenyon and Organising Committee for arranging another stylish event. Those who didn't attend missed out on a 'reet good do'. The sun shone on the Sunday for the traditional stroll along the Prom........
